![]() While discussions on vote stagnancy have been an important agenda in meetings and on social media among ICONists and P-Reps, most of us assumed that there already was vote stagnancy without any hard evidence. This can cause votes to sit unmoved in a specific team or worse yet, voters tend to re-stake into the same team instead of considering to move their votes to other teams that may benefit the ICON Network. While there is clearly an incentive for voters to re-stake (compounding interests), there is no incentive for voters to shift the votes to the most active teams. One of the reasons for this can be pinpointed to the system itself. Vote stagnancy or voter apathy to shift votes into teams that are contributing more into the ICON Ecosystem have been a subject highly debated and discussed within ICONists and P-Reps.
